“ Whenever you can eat local. This amazing restaurant is a local for locals and travelers who hate the cookie cutter Mexican food peddled by the big brands. The restaurant is clean and sanitized by staff as soon as a table clears. Daily specials and pages of menu options with pictures and explanations in English, and we have a winner. The food was quickly prepared and served and was wonderfully authentic and flavorful. It may not be right off the highway, but a 10 minute detour from I-10 and easy parking is well worth it. ”

“ The food was fantastic, and it was worth the price we paid. The daily specials are pretty good deals, and everyday prices are not bad. My potato egg and cheese taco was stuffed with eggs, unlike other places that have heavy amounts of potato. Barbacoa taco was not greasy and dripping everywhere, and yet was not dry. I dislike whenever barbacoa tacos are super greasy and messy, so these were perfect. Waitress was quick and nice. Our food came out relatively quick, but we did have two plates come out well after the others. I think one server was delivering food to the wrong tables, and some stuff got mixed up. Once we brought it up, the food promptly arrived. I didn't taste the menudo, but some of our family did.. and they liked it A LOT. It wasn't spicy but very flavorful. We'll be back soon! ”
